It was our last afternoon in Florence and we hurried to capture a lasting picture of the Palazzo Vecchio as seen from a park across the River Arno. Our daughter and son-in-law were married in the palace. From a distance, we could see the tower where Savanorala was imprisoned before his execution in the Piazza della Signoria below.
