This church has been a significant part of Noe Valley's history from its earliest days. Built over 125 years ago, it's the cornerstone of the neighborhood at Church and Valley Street, known to hundreds of graduates and parishioners throughout the Bay Area. Whoopi Goldberg led a wonderfully exuberant choir here for a congregation of neighborhood residents serving as extras in the movie, "Sister Act."
