"A working man's town whose three block main street is bisected by the railroad track. I sat on a milk crate on one side of the tracks near the flashing overhead light. Across the street, the bright green hotel wall was juxtaposed to an aging concrete foundation and gravel road bed. From inside came the sounds of country and western music."
