That afternoon spent at the Strawberry River was a magical interlude in a moment of life continuing. My wife Judy walked along the winding curve of the river, alternately admiring the poetry in the setting and that in her mind's eye. I found a large, comfortable rock to sit on, paint and admire the fortified bridge above capped by the river bubbling and gurgling at my feet. Together we share this earth, excitement and joy.
